That sounds right because the MIP coupler at the tranny output shaft is about 10-11mm plus the 72mm shaft equals 83mm. At any rate the MIP kit works. I personally would have liked to get a set of the T-Bonz (by TSAIS)center shafts...they are nice. They have a notched cross pin and c-clip to assure that they stay together. I use them for my drive shafts but at the time I was building, the T-Bonz center shafts were not available.
