i thought ot might be too hot also...so for neither motor has heated at all...they are always pretty cool to the touch!!...i will check the temp after next session!...i have to install the new output shaft tonight...FUN,FUN!

I dont think I ever saw it written down in this or the other thread- what gearing do you run on those 2x 12 cell systems?

18 tooth PLETTENGERG pinion,66tooth Kippster Racing slipper and spur gear,Strobe Sprong...great in first and second gear!!!!...Oh yeah...ULTRAMAXXED GEN4 aluminum trani gears!I have close-ups for later tonight!

Hmm, thats fairly conservative, but if it gives excellent speed and cool temps, thats all that matters.

I would go with the hardened steel if you got something custom made. If im not mistaken its alot stronger than Ti under rotational stresses.

When you video it how about gps or radar?? I'd love to know it's top speed.

Yep, pile of cack by all accounts I've seen in the past. You'd be better served with a GPS unit such as the bicycle or hiking units sold by Garmin (E-trex?).
