Actually, not to make you feel older, the RC-10 dates back to '85.

haha im sure it doesnt make him feel any older

as of right now i am going to try to restore them and suprise my dad with them, but i will let you know!

also, pb4 do you happen to know which forum they are active on? or do you know any forums who might be able to give me further details on these cars?

I don't remember. Do a search for Mike Dunn or Steve Dunn or Race Prep and you'll find it. If you search Pro Radiant, you'll find a couple info sites mostly dealing with vintage Tamiya that have a page or two of info on these cars.
