I was just testing the car to see how it went with the pack.

I have yet to receive my 18.5v packs.

Might have to contact them by email & arrange something.

Well, it looks as though the MMM got wet & fried.

I've yet to send an email to CC to see if they can at least take a look at it & quote me on repairing it.

Worst case the flat fee replacement cost is normally under 50% of the cost of the of a new ESC... http://www.castlecreations.com/support.html

CC have not yet published a flat fee cost on the MMM yet - my guess is they will look at all repairs favourably at the moment as they work out any and alll issues.
