The strangest thing was the mounting screws held the end cap into the motor mount, the actual can blew off of the end cap from the impact. I never would have thought that was the problem when I walked up to the car.

The pinion was still on too, just the little motor floating around under the body.

Still running though, I just gave it another lap around the apartment to make sure the JB Weld isn't secretly inside of the assembly causing harm. Although I was excited to get a chance to buy something new possibly, I am happy I fixed what I have.

Been there, done that with a similar motor. Except....my luck was worse. I shattered the rotor.

curbs.. 1/1 car tires... the little median in between doors if u have a 2 car garage... mailboxes... and the list goes on :D
