I'm really liking my stock Savage Flux tires so far. Honestly, I haven't tried them on the 8T yet, but it's on my list of things to try.
They have a good amount of cushion, handle like crap, and balloon too much - but thats what basshing is all about, right!?!??!
I too have Badlands stretched on 3.8's on my revo - but I have issues with them popping the glue bead. Might be because I stretched them, or it could have been my initial glue job.
Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES
I do have my E-Revo that I could try the 3.8" stretched Badlands on, but once I install all my 8th scale diffs in it I'm switching to 40 series (PL Dirt Hawgs on Axial oversize wheels).
But for the F8T truggy I'm definitely going to try the Badlands.
i thought you can only dye certain rims that allow it? im liking the badlands on black rulux
Most white nylon-based rims can be dyed. Ones that have the fake chrome finishes generally do not take dying well (boiling water wrecks chrome finish). RPM chrome rims can be dyed however, check out their website to see some awesome examples of dyed chrome and tips for dying chrome rims.
im diffidently thread jacking but another question about the rulux half up/badlands combo
I got em and MAN are they hard to put on. It seems the foam does not get evenly distributed and spots on the sidewall seem......flat....is it normal? will running help get the foam to sit?
also.....i forgot to take em.....how important you guys think taping willl be in this combo since its already stretched
