Need Motor and ESC for E-Maxx

Hey guys - I have a similar setup as above, but I plan on running nothing more than 14 cells nimhs (ib3800 and up). I also have the strobe slipper & sprong setup on its way. What motor & pinion do you think I should use? Mike recommended the 1940 6 or 7 turn with 18 51 gearing, but I'm concerned about the lack of pinion availability. Is there a motor that would work well with 14 51 gearing?

steve050773 were are you getting the strobe slipper from? Every place that I check that should have them they have been out of stock for a while.

Thanks for the help guys. I placed my order last night but mike was out of the 1950/8 so I went with a 1950/7. Would the gearing for the 7T be the same as the 8T (18/51)?

I would drop back a couple for the 7. Try a 16 51 for it.
