I think these tires are the perfect size for my CRT.5 with the extended chassis. I think with the original chassis they might be a little big.

I've been doing a little more work to my CRT. Moved the ESC and rx to the rear of the chassis and moved the battery box up a little bit.

Also, installed a new wing and painted and trimmed the used body that came with the truck. I have a new body ready to be painted. Replaced the rear shocks with a set of Ofna buggy rear shocks. They are a little big and a little bit to bouncy but I'm going to give them a try.

Here is a little update on my CRT.5

I took the truck out this past weekend for a little bashing around a large construction site.

This truck is SO much fun. I was running a 2s Reedy 5000mah hardcase pack and it had plenty of power with the VXL system. Then I tried a 3s Turnigy 4500mah pack and the truck had less punch and more top end.

Running on 3s it's almost to fast for bashing. I need to get some street tires and try that 3s pack again.

I was planning on ripping out the VXL and selling it but seeing how well it's running lately I might just keep it in there for a while.

How do the knuckles hold up for you? I've only gotten to drive mine 3 times and I broke a knuckle every time...I'm hoping it was just beginner's luck.

I've driven mine 4-5 times so far and haven't broken a knuckle at all. I can say that I'm not the hardest on my truck but this past weekend was a good test with no broken parts at all.

Must just be my luck then. I know that 1 was totally my fault (hit a post, lol). But the other two were uncalled for. There are some decent priced alloy knuckles for the SCRT10 though, I'll grab those before I break too many more plastic ones :)
