Buggies and drifting? - 01.02.2011, 09:24 AM

I recently got an rc8e and wasn't expecting to have fun drifting with it but I think it could be fun for a little while. I don't really know much about drift set ups so if I could get some direction that would be great!

I've read lots of toe front and back helps and locked diffs is a personal preference. Try and steer with the throttle. What else can I do to make it easier (without a d-box)? Would it be better to be front heavy?

Setup is mmm, 1518, 6s A123/5s lipo. I have 4s but that doesn't have much speed with my largest pinion (17t).

Here's some footage of the first run-

It's not really noticable in the vid but I was laying blackies on my driveway I think the 35C day temperature helped.
