I'm a nitro guy trying to convert to electric, so i don't have a FEEL for anything yet. But I do work in electronics and understand a few things about heat effects and running electronics backed off from their maxx ratings....
Serum, wouldn't a pair of these or 6900s on #S get the job done with two smaller motors...I guess one big motor on 4S would be more efficient, thanks for your patience....
I would not use these small motors personally; if you want a real deal 2 motor setup, do it the right way, or stay away from it. that's my opinion. like i said; use 4S on the setup; the 5700 can't take 4S, and running it 2s makes it even less efficient.
You might like symmetry, but using two 1/10th scale systems is quite a missfit IMO..
You could use two small motors on 4S as well, which makes it more efficient. np on the patience, i am just no fan of the tiny-micro rotors that are in the mm motors. even two are not enough. a wanderer/feigao S motor delivers more torque.
But if money is an issue and you can agree with a huge compromise you could set for the dual mm setup..
Yes, they use segmented magnets, but Neu is my favorite over Lehner.
that outrunner; i wonder what it does in real life, (how hot it gets etc) because an outrunner is meant for a fixed RPM, and not for a constant variation in rpm's. the moving mass is located rather far from the center, which makes them less ideal to respond fast to the vehicles behavior.
