Really?!? I wasn't even expecting it very soon. Any idea on repair costs?

Sometimes. In my case, a chip was partially damaged, but replacing it didn't seem to fix the problem. That's why Mike sent it in to BK.

Send it to Mike to get it fixed! Or, just have Mike take a look at it.

Mike says the esc is perfectly fine.... lol, theres a waste of time. I asked mike if he could put it on a car and test it out ot be 100% sure.

Did you send the motor with it? That away he could have tested both of them out.
Peace!

Well, that's good news at least! So, maybe your problem is in your batteries; a partially broken/loose solder connection on the batteries maybe. Would make sense since a bad/loose solder joint can't supply the current the ESC will try to pull.
Man, I really hope I don't blow my controller somehow when it comes in! I think I'll definitely make some type of ESC box to protect it and support the wires (while maintaining adequate cooling of course). Might be worth the effort!

Get used to it (lol!). He can send it in to BK, and there's no way that they will charge you full price for it. So, it might only end up being $120 down the drain :).
