Glad to see this is back on track!

I think I have a partial rolling chassis (pretty much just the suspension) in my garage somewhere. I think it has Alu bulks and skids, traxxas big bores, outer cvds, but no chassis, I have some NIP Losi 420 size wheels and tires too I think... I'll check down there tonight when I'm home and post up what I have. Let's finish this!

I'm not sure if this is plausible, but I'd be willing to donate a few bucks towards getting a 1518 or 1520 from the Castle sale, if others would too.

I think he said he had an 8XL, which just won't do!

I was going to write castle and ask for a donation! Good back up plan.

Yo H I can do the spacers, but something looks off on your 'print', is it just the .078 is proportionally off? I see they're thicker on the washer part on the diff pictures. I have LST diffs but no Maxx bulks to confirm dimensions, I do remember .813-.815 for the Maxx diameter, so as long as you're 100% on the dims.

And I assume 6061?

Forgot I had Maxx diffs..... duh. Ok I got 1.275 on the face-to-face width of the Maxx diff, the LST f-t-f dim is 1.065, so 1.275 minus 1.065 is .210, split in half is .105. So if my math is right, your .078 needs to be .105. Look right?

Thank You Redshift!!!!!!!

Redshift lathed up some adapter rings that are bada$$ and instantly moved this build to the next level.

I am doing everything in my power to move this build along!

Well, I am really stepping it up.

This evening I:

- mocked up and installed a custom center diff

- got driveshafts and center diff placement spot on (two regular LST driveshafts fit perfect with a hyper 7 center diff in a 3905 maxx)

- got the template cut for the custom chassis

- ordered a 3mm 12x9 piece of carbon fiber from full force r/c $58 (this truck for charity will have a CUSTOM CARBON FIBER CHASSIS AND CENTER DIFF!!!) More money I am dumping..... wish some people would help.....

Yep. Hopefully I'll get my internet and computers sorted soon and get online more.

I offered to pitch in on a motor from the Castle sale, never got a PM from you or any word on whether Castle responded to your email about a donation.

Moving forward. I'm waiting on a driveshaft and a steering rack to put the ends on.

Updates: The first pic is what I did with the chassis I got from whitzrac. He said he thought I might just be working him for a t-maxx chassis and not using it on this project. Who wants a t-maxx anyway?

I just cut the ends off that attach to the bulkheads to make braces, just like they did with the lexan bombproof chassis'.

I bought a pro-line maxx servo saver from Monster Mike- $45

And some aluminum hexes and wheel nuts I had lying around for bling. I know they are only 14mm hexes, but aluminum won't strip and I have 10 14mm wheels and tires to go with the truck.
