what i acually got and race now... - 04.30.2009, 08:15 AM

well after all my babaling..here is what i actually race!

specs:
MMM + 2200 combo (wish i had a medusa 2000kv 70mm instead! motor can diameter is smaller and i could gear lower and bump up the voltage = cooler running)

zippy H 5s and 4s lipo's (2x5s and 1x4s)
E-revo diffs
3905 tranny
thunder tiger ACE DS1015 servo
techno sway bars
geared 16/68
center diff (yes it helps in this case..not a waste of time)
crime fighter M2 MTR's (prolly get some bow ties for the wetter months)
traxxas wing mount casue the techno mount sucks balls
trx wing....just casue lol
RPM true track and front arms and knuckles
DX3s radio...AND A HORN!!!! (not pictured...has to be mounted up again)
and the rest isnt worth worrying about

race this week end
just have to beat a mambafyed RC8T and a mambafyed MBX5B
that's next to impossible....lol

Thats funny that is exactly where I have mine mounted. So you have your trans mounting tabs underneath the chassis? Does the stock skid stil clear?

no bottom skid plate...if i could be bothered buggerizing around i could get this titanium one to fit but i cant be arsed
no tranny mounting tabs...just dremeling in just the right places and washers on one screw because it's offset a bit (yes a little yuckey but works well)

the only weak point left is the center driveshafts...but have steel E-maxx one to mod soon so that will go into it asap.

race in 14 hours

did i tell you guys that this is a 2.5 chassis?
that tightens the turning circle something shocking!!!
i cant see what the fuss about the 3.3 chassis.
if you run a 2.5 chassis with a center diff (i did that in my nitro one too..modded to take the rear brake too) they they handel sick as!!

today's race......WAS SICK!!!!!
was one of only 2 trucks who actually cleared all the jumps as they are ment to be (none of the nitro's did it casue they were all scared off)

MMM was great...temps on motor were at 120 max on 5s
wish i had more offset on the wheels and wish i fiddled with the sway bars too

but all in all it handles awsome and has plenty of in-flight correction ability.
and i reckon i have something over the rest of the drivers when it comes to jumping...i dunno..not like it's hard...casue they are beutiful jumps but they just need more balls

that's one of hte pics...there will be more comming up after a bit.
