Anyone run a 2230?

Looking for feedback on the 2230. Especially compared to a 1950. Will the larger diameter produce that much more power?

Enough to overcome the shorter length?

BTW, I tried the search, but ended up with alot of 2240 info.

I never had a 2230 myself, but not too long ago I saw a CEN MT with a 2230.
I felt with the same voltage I'd still take my 1950. It was very nice and powerfull, but nothing that made me go WOW. I stick to my 1950s.

Don't expect too big of a difference between a 1950 and a 2230.

don't know if you knew; the 1950 has got a 19mm diameter rotor, which is 50mm long and the 2230 uses a 22mm diameter rotor which is 30mm long.

i doubt if you would notice a difference between a 1940 and a 1950 to be honest. Both are capable of more than enough torque, and both are capable of producing the same power (battery limitations)

No, it was not the one in the mag. Not the nice one, unfortunately not.
Alex from BK has a Genesis too. He kept going on about it like it was the best thing ever.

if you see the shafts, they should be able to run a 1:1 car... Looks.. that's what it is.. Too big.. Too heavy.. everthing is just 'too' on that thing IMO..

That's what I was hoping for. I love my 1950, but a project I'm working on would benefit from the shorter length of the 2230.

I'm also worried the 1940 would struggle with 14-15 lbs of truck to haul.
