pistix + brake programmable esc = still no brakes =/ -

i have this controller http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id...3&pid=B3455156 a pistix adapter along with a DX3 spektrum and still can't get the brakes to work, can anybody point out what im doing wrong?
