IDEAS for a 1/10 brushless project

I was trying to use the Kyosho spur and to do that, it needed some mods or some special parts. Riceman (IIRC) lengthened his CD mount holes in the chassis a little and was able to use the spur. I didn't want to mod the chassis, so I ended up using the stock steel spur. It was easier all the way around. Plus, eventually, I will probably use Mike's mount when it comes out and didn't want to mod parts without knowing what his will entail. The only chassis mod I did was to drill one 3mm hole for the battery tray; everything else used what was already there.
