I had an evader. On the model that I had, all of the parts were graphite. Graphite sounds nice and may be nice on a racer, but I find it to be far too brittle for bashing. You might try boiling your graphite parts to soften them up a bit and make them a bit more flexible. You might break fewer parts. It's what I used to do.
