No heat issue with the 5000 pack, but I have also not run it from full charge to full dump either.
The Quark cogged a bit once when I was runing on the track... after I stopped for a minute and went to go again. it wasn't bad but it did do it. 18/46.... :) and no apparent issues either other than a bit more cogging... still worked fine. I raced it all day.. TQ and win too.... I didn't check temps though. I was VERY busy running three cars and helping run the races.
