Well I just emailed Mike a few days back about the CRT.5 motor mount, and here is what he said:
Quote:
I actually worked out a custom delrin spur gear last night - unfortunately the molded spur gears I used had some voids that will ultimately deem them unusable(molding process is the cause). I will finish up the motor mount today or tomorrow and keep searching for a machineable spur gear so I can offer this product as well(I have the spur design ready, but need an acceptable spur gear to modify). The motor mount should be pretty easy to do, so I hope to complete it pretty quickly.
Hopefully this will clarify many questions for people.

Just thought I would mention that I just bought a Mamba Max 5700 today. Then, I'll have to buy the CRT.5 and then... Mikes motor mount/spur. :027: Just two more things to buy.

Kind of cheating.:005:

Unfortunately, I just got an email saying that they are out of stock right before I ordered. :mad:1 So now I think I will get the 4600.

Edit: Just ordered the 4600. :027:

Well, at first I'll just run a 6 cell ib4200 that I have from my pede using my cheap and old Duratrax Piranha charger.:010:

But I will definately upgrade to lipo soon and then of course, the MRC 989. :027:

Unfortunately, probably in a while. Early July when my birthday is, I'm sure to get a few rc things, as rarely as I do.

But I'll be putting my rc18mt on ebay pretty soon, and selling quite a few old 2.2 tires used on my pede, and a nitro rustler body thats already painted. And then a few other odds and ends, that I have no use for...

So all I can hope for is that I get enough money from that stuff to buy the CRT.5.:027:

Just thought I would mention that I just sold my rc18 from the buyer using "Buy it now". I sold it for $275 including shipping. I also have one other item on ebay right now, that is at $20 right now (old tires, body) so that'll give me the perfect amount for the CRT.5.:004:

Thanks. I'll keep everyone updated with pictures. I just need to wait for Mike's motor mount, and the conversion will be fairly simple.
