Unless you already have an ESC and motor in mind, most people are using the Mamba Max system. It's an "S" size 540 can, and the controller is good for 100A, up to 4s lipo (or 12 cells NiMH), has great programmability via PC, and is small. If you plan to use that ESC, but with a different motor, check back here first as the MM seems finnicky for certain motors. It runs 2 pole inrunner motors just fine though.
