[QUOTE=Serum]You wanted to do injury to your CNC machine when your vehicle runs crap? using a certain device to hit it?
I noticed the 30 degree on the motormount, what do you do to support the motor?QUOTE]
What i meant was that i enjoy milling a lot - so when i dont wanna mill - it has to be something pretty interesting to make me not want to mill - and the 30 degrees was so that i would have a nice place to recess the speed controller into the chassis - and there is no other support for the motor - Mike looked at it last night and saw that it was very strong - so there is no other support besides the aluminum motor mount...

A bit off topic here Walter, but what springs (for the shocks) are those on your smaxx?
"if you've got something to say, say it peacefully"
GREAT TRUCK !! one question, which will be a better racer your supermaxx or your Jammin or pretty close given the same good driver
Brushless Jammin Truggy on NEU 1515 2.5 D on Monster mamba max with maxamps 5000mah 6s Lipo
Gorillamaxx Revo CF version on Mamba maxx ESC with NEU 1515 1Y on Maxamps 4s 8000mah Lipo
im gonna say the jammin - its 9lbs 6ozs compared to the supermaxx with dual 5s packs tipping the scales at around 11lbs, not to mention the jammin is about an inch lower - so were going to have to see this weekend..
I wouldnt mind seeing a vid of that race. That is a very clean looking conversion; you people clearly have far too much money going spare to keep building master pieces like that. Like your new Avatar too.... very true.
I actually just found my camcorder - and if possible - will record the action - i just might need help posting the vids - but im sure that would be possible from all of you here....
- btw he is coming down in an hour to probably draw up the .5 mount - Thanks for the kind words Rene
any update on the crt.5 mount? also how was the truck on the track? is the 1400 nue enough? If it is enough motor I will pick one up when I order the 8t motor mount (hopefully they are done soon). thanks
I felt the neu was wonderful - running on 5S - geared for, if i remember correctly, 36mph - worked like a charm - got warm - but not hot.... I liked it...
Hot N Cold I would like to convert like what you have granting that I already have the esc and motor, how much do i need to spend to get the truck and motor mount and how difficult it is to do it,I do really like your conversion it it awsome,by the way hod did you do with the race?was it a better racer than your supermaxx?

If you hit mike with an email - he can probably tell you how much for the motor mount - but this mount is not just the motor mount - it is the front diff mount as well. So mention this thread in your email and also inquire about the recess of the speed controller into the chassis - ( if you wish to do this the way i did ). The race was pretty awesome - mike beat me in the first race and i think i snuck the second race from him - but he was having difficulties with his esc switch. Both races had us about 15-20 seconds apart after a 5 min race so it was fun any which way you looked at it... I didnt even get a chance to run the supermaxx - but from the amount of fun i had with the bl truggy - i think the truggy would win out, at least this time anyway... Good Luck with the conversion...
