Antenna question. - 05.09.2007, 03:09 AM

I just replaced the antenna on my receiver for my JR XS3 Pro. I bought the factory replacement for it but it is like twice as long as what I remember it.
Anyone have any experience whith this? Should I leave the full length or trim it to where I remember it being? Or I could just call JR but this is quicker.
Thanks.

IIRC, the antenna needs to be a specific length. Call them and ask them how long it needs to be from the solder point on the board to the other end. It was like that with my spektrum anyway. I was told that having too long of an antenna would actually reduce the range. I don't know about that, but it's what I was told.

I would contact JR to see what the length should be at. I run a novak with a longer wire with no issues, but that is a different brand.
