Cool My BL Maxx - 56K warning - 07.08.2005, 10:51 AM

Here are some pics of my EMaxx. It's got a 9L with a Warrior 9918, MIP CVD's in the center and RD Logic shiny CVD's at the corners. Lots of aluminum - shocks, towers, bulks, gear boxes, arms, bumpers, etc. Some upgraded gears in the rear diff and a 645MG steering servo.

Hope these aren't too big....

Enjoy!

nice. might i suggest something? well, i would reverse the tranny and mount the esc on the rear shock tower to put some weight in the back so it wont be nose heavy.

Thanks!

Excellent suggestion. I've thought about it, actually, but have wanted to drive it lately instead of wrenching on it, so I guess I've just been lazy. Don't do a lot of jumping with it so it hasn't been an issue. Plus, helps to keep the nose down a little, all that power makes it wheelie on command, as I'm sure you know!

Awesome avatar, by the way.

another tip, try reversing the batteries, ie. put the extra cell at the back and on the inside (so that it is protected). Only problem is the wire might not be long enough.....you might have tried this already, just thought I'd help.

Nice ride. I also thought the same about the batts as maxxdude. Extra cell to the inside, no doubt.

Yep, tried it and the wires aren't long enough. I suppose I could make some jumpers, but don't want any more connections in there than are necessary, or any longer wires than I need.

You could do it, I'm sure. Just add a few cm's of wire, no need for additional connections.
Speaking of wires, you may also shorten the leads on the controller, the blue ones.

Check my setup, a controller re-location would be a good idea. Don't want to say you should copy mine, just to give you an idea.
