Anybody heard about KB45-L and XL series motors? - 05.18.2007, 10:42 AM

Couple weeks ago i saw interesting motor on unitedhobbies
I dont put any link here to respect Owner forum
But its very interesting to know is anybody tried those inrunners?
And also i saw interesting motor there like Quannum Drive 36-55
6pole motor. Amazingly low price is there but exatly price is hold me.
I bought to try one cheap serv,o liposafe bag and programm card and so far so good. Service is exelent.
But before some serious order i want to know other members experince.

Unitedhobbies is OEM seller actualy they sell OEM stuff what some factory makes for some BRAND. They dont expose real names. So whats why I am asking anybody tried that stuff especialy motors and ESC's what they sell?
That motor is using 6mm shaft and 45-size
Is it right that Feigao 540 series motors is -36 Size?

OK Tom. I get it.

I've never seen the name come up in conversation. Most everyone I know on these forums uses Lehner, NEU, BK, Feigao, Castle and occassionally Hacker, Novak, or Plettenburg, Blue Nemesis, Aveox, or Outrunner.

I've used Castle and NEU personally.

Most of what I've read at RCgroups say their motors are ok, but a bit over rated.

Where do people say they fall short???

Durability?

Efficiency?

Power?

WOW! That's heavy. A full 7oz heavier than my NEU 1515!

Looks like a Feigao/Nemesis and it's priced below it.

Higher resistance and lower KV. I guess I should say they fall short of their ratings, typically UH uses numbers in line with the competition even if the motor doesn't support those numbers.
