Brushless CRT - 05.24.2007, 07:49 AM

I just got her together and I'm going to tear her apart today (trying to run a neu in place of the 8xl). Its amazing how much better it handles now that its converted over to electric. My biggest concern was the balance of the layout. I balanced the truck on a piece of threaded rod, under center point of the chassis first side to side and then front to back. I took some double sided tape and temporarily mounted the components moving them around till it was perfectly balanced. When it was all said and done it ended up weighing 9.4 lbs with batteries and the kinda heavy stock tires. With the lighter neu motor and a few other parts I have yet to put on it I should be able to get it close to 9.25 lbs. I'll let you guys know how the neu runs with the mm.

It cogged very badly right off the line and when you punched it even while moving. :019: Well it was worth a try.:018:

Nice. I am really liking that battery tray. Did you make it? To bad about the Neu cogging with the MM. I guess it is just luck when it comes to which MM will work with the Neu...
