Yes. I run my savage on 5s a123 for hard bashing. Its actually more like 4.5s lipo. I would even consider the (2200kv) 1515/1y instead of the 1515/2.5D if you go the 1515 route. I like power:p.

On 5s a123 the 2000kv motor would be great. It will run nice and cool.


I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Just making sure. You think it's 4.5 LiPo? I guess I have been comparing it to Trakpower's, 5s A123 is 4s Trakpower, according to eagletree.

Okay, so it's between the 1.5Y and the 2.5D, 1900Kv or 2000Kv...... oooh the choices! :005:
