Put the whole ESC in the freezer for about 20 minutes. Then, GENTLY use a flat bladed screwdriver and SLOWLY pry between one corner of the heatsink and the PCB. Breaking loose a corner is much easier than attacking it from one side.

Also, make sure that the screwdriver is not resting directly on any PCB traces or they may be damaged.

Disclaimer: Doing this may damage FETs. I've pulled the heatsink off two MM's and done two Quarks and have had no problem, but the possibility of damage is there...
