Question UBEC and receiver wiring question? - 08.26.2007, 05:02 PM

On the OE E-Maxx Reciever ther are three numbered slots and one battery slot. I have a GorillaMax single speed conversion so I don't use a shifting servo.

Can I put the esc fan in the battery slot and the UBEC where the shifting servo used to be?

Yes. All the power and ground connections are the same for all channels. The only thing different is the signal wire (of course the battery slot has no signal).

What I did on mine, was use a "Y" connector like the one used for the stock Revo servos and plug the UBEC and fan all in the one battery slot. It has been workign great for me. Although, you do have to have a 5 volt fan as far as I know.
