Hands down, has to be the Mini LST, definately the crappiest truck out there!!

Oh, wait a minute, I must have read your post wrong, I thought you wanted the best way to waste a grand on making a pos work!!

On the best truck to by... hummmmmmmm, my vote would go to converting a 1/8 scale nitro monster truck, you can really bash those things and they hold up well. I wil be converting an aftershock, cheapy version of the lst2. If you like truggys the 8t seems popular, not sure about truggys. I have a hb lsp that I am in the process of converting, but not really sure what to do with it when I finish. I only bought it cause it was a killer deal!!!

You said the beastiest truck right? I have been thinking about a brushless Lst 6x6 conversion running a lehner 2240 on 8s

My vote goes for a maxxi-LST2 (LST2 with E-Maxx tranny and custom chassis plate). That's what I'm building at the moment :)

My vote goes to an LST2, I'd try to get all the electronics inside one those RC Solutions roll cages to be well protected; They're beasts!

I had no idea that the lst would be so popular. Just by looking at it it looks tough and I spoke to a few guys who raced them and they had no issues with the diff or suspension. That why I bought an aftershock. I will do the emaxx tranny and sell off the nitro stuff and the stock radio gear.

Save some money and get and aftershock with LST2 upgrade since you won't be needing the tranny extras or the better engine and radio.

Also, check out this site for LST2 specific help: lstforums.com

$1000 for an amazing R/C truck? Woah man, let me know where you shop!

You have a Revo and a E-Maxx... why not just make these amazing? They are both great chassis to work from.

Are those tupperware shocks of the aftershock any good?

Good enough that a lot of the pro racers replace the lst al shock bodies with them, mainly for weight reduction. I have freind who has had a nitro aftershock for a while and has had no shock problems. I had a look at a shock body and it is quite thick and does not distort easily under hand pressure.

1000 would be just a start lol.

and i could keep my revo and just upgrade it but i was just wondering what the opinions on other trucks were. as far as the emaxx goes... idk... i just dont like how it runs.

I have always prefered the emaxx as a 2wd truck. I think it is alot more fun than 4wd, bash-wise anyway.

Trust me, a Revo with a Gorillamaxx chassis will own...I don't think you would regret it.
