X2 on this. Cummins, for one, actually came out with service bulliten warnings about K&N and a couple other of the "cheaper" filter manufactures in regards to their particulate bypass counts. Its particularly important on motors that run turbo's or chargers to keep that air as clean as you possibly can. I do a white glove test on my turbo inlet every time I clean my filter to make sure its working correctly.
