Need a motor - 09.22.2007, 08:11 PM

Well i got word last night that my jammin buggy convesion is finished . Dan at rcproductsdesign used my buggy to make a kit for the jammin buggy. So im looking for a motor. I have recived several different suggestions. Lxmuff suggested 1512-1.5d or a 1512-2d, he said there is very little if any cogging with these two. Ron or (waterdog49) suggested a 1512-1.5y or a 1512-3d. He said if i used a Y wind they have a wider efficancy range than the d motors. I have also had a suggestion to use a plettenberg maxximum. I would be using flightpower 4s 5000mah lipo's & a MM or quark . Ron also said if i ran one of the motors he suggested the motor would be running a lot closer to it's sweet spot, than some of the other NEU motors, & that i would'nt have to choke the motor buy running a smaller pinion, like you have to on some of the other NEU motors.
