Are you going to run 4WD? If not, you'll want to stretch that chassis as long as you can.

Wouldnt you also want to eliminate the tranny and get as close to direct drive as you can? (assuming of course that you have optimized your motor for the weight and drive ratio). Maybe one of the outrunner brushless motors might work well in this particular appication (long discussion on those in the temporary forum).

Also, I would guess that the G3 chassis would almost be quite heavy for drag racing.

Drag racing is all about the amount of potential energy you can store, and the ability to completely release it by the end of the track.
