brushless 1/10th truggy (help and opinions?)

Thanks for the pics. Thats the layout i plan on using i had the same idea for the motor plate but also making it L at the bottom and attach to the chassis.


i would REALLY like to use the the vxl system on 3s, BUT if its not gonna hold up i might have to find some extra money somehow and get the MM/9L combo which is $40 more, doesnt seem like much but i would have to buy a cheaper charger and i reallly want a nice charger that'll charge everything (including my minilst nimh packs)

what kv is the 9L and how would it compare to the 3500kv vxl system on the same battery (say a 3s2p 6000 for example)?

gotta keep it under $600 and a 100 of it is a nice charger...... im trying to figure everything out and reading reviews on everything, whats your take and hows that chassis holding up (shocks, arms, diffs...) i would think they are pretty tough.
