Even if it IS a BL Revo, it probably won't be built to the power levels we all are used to. I doubt it will be as good as the G3R and still be priced at an affordable point for most people.

The only thing I could really see really NEEDING upgrade on the revo would be the diffs. Other than that.... the rest of the drivetrain is pretty solid. Hopefully they design an upgraded BL worthy tranny for it also and dump the stupid manual 2 speed like in the emaxx. Thats assuming that a revo is whats "Next"

If it is a BL Revo those guys who are selling Revo conversion kits are gonna be pissed. Especially Tekno RC who is just now trying to launch a pretty nice looking (IMO) conversion kit.

Yeah, that would suck, but "them are the breaks"!

Still, there is something to be said for taking something and modifying it to suit YOUR goals. A sense of accomplishment and having something no one else does. Stock is just boring IMO.

I agree totally. I cant remember buying something stock and even running it once before modifying something. If they just made the stock trucks better I wouldn't have to spend so much time modifying them. Of course... I probably would loose interest in the hobby if there was no mod work to be done. Thats my favorite part.

I think Traxxas should offer kit or roller versions of their trucks to satisfy all the modders out there.

I doubt that will ever happen. Traxxas is THE rtr company. They originated it. I seriuosly doubt they will abandon their roots.

I know, but since we are hoping for a BL Revo, why not wish for the gold. While we're dreaming, we should wish for the MMM since THAT dream is about as far-fetched as it gets....

The MMM dream is actually becoming more of a nightmare.

Back to the real topic though. I am really hoping its something cool. A boat would SOOOOO disapointing. I never understood why they havent come out with a stock big block version of the revo. Seems natural. All of the other MT makers are already there.

But being that this is an electric forum, I would also be very disapointed with a repolished Emaxx.

Nothing short of an E-Revo will do anymore. You guys have built it up in my head now.

We all have to remember that they used to offer kits way before they originated the RTR craze. There is still hope...

My first thought as well. Also makes perfect sense since the Velineon could power it, and it would be an easy conversion/re-engineer.

Yeah, but then the e-Jato would compete directly against the Rustler both being 2wd and all. If it's a vehicle, I'd say a 4WD truck of some kind, maybe a smaller size than an Emaxx.

They still offer the Nitro Rustler, even though it's 2wd.

They appeal to different sgments of the market. The Jato (whether E or gas) can be the step-up vehicle from the Rustler (whether E or gas) while keeping them in the Traxxas family.
