thanks B15, the panther slicks actually weight 200g without the rims so no weight advantage there. :O( I do have some 1:8 buggy wheel and tires and my maxx is a mad maxx machine with that combo but I dont really like the look plus it feels like i'm cheating with those wheels...cause not really a maxx like that... lol


Working on:
Twin CF GorillaMaxx (8S motors on 2x2slipo)
2WD AL. GorillaMaxx (7lbs with batteries)

Speaking of Phaltline tires, would you guys recommend taping them? I'm thinking about getting some with black HPI Tremors.

I have taped Road Rage 40 series in the past and that seems to work good-didn't know if I had to though just wanted to prevent ballooning. I'm runnin 4 and 5s in a Losi 8T. These are mounted on black wabash rims
