How and where can I dispose of Li-Ion batteries?

Hmmm, never thought of that. I would just toss them in the garbage, but a call to wherever you got them to find the right answer would be better...

The law requires any retailer selling batteries to allow returns of old cells to be disposed of in a safe and legal manner. To get rid of them, just return them to where you purchased them from. If you purchased them online, check to see the requirements for mailing lithium batteries, as they are sometimes considered dangerous cargo. Please do not just blow them up, bury them, or even just put them in thre trash. Dispose of them legally and safely.

You can take them to Lowes the have a battery dump at the Returns desk at ours.
