i haven't had either, but i just ordered a mamba max, and i just sold a quark 33amp. the quarks are very smooth on the throtle responce, but from what i understand the mamba's has such a great tuning interface. that said along with the higher amp rating, i'd choose the mamba. voltage should be fine with either esc. maybe the quark 80 would be a closer comparison to the mamba.

Of those two, the Mamba Max would definitely be a better pick. The reasoning is, the Quark 65 isn't capable of handling the amount of current required by a Revo (and that motor). Even the Quark 125 could have issues with heat in that setup.

I think the Quark would be up to the task, but a MM would be easier to keep cool with fans.

Yep, the mm is a better bet on 4s than the quark. I have both and have used the quark with a variety of motors on 5s, which is hit or miss with the MM. In my experience the MM is a solid 4s controller that will stay cool if you add a larger cap on the power board where the battery leads go. Griffinru can mod a MM for you that will stay cool on a 7xl and high gearing, so I am sure it will work well with a lehner.
