I would also suggest the 7XL, mainly because of all the reason's that Serum mentioned. But it doesn't matter how powerful our brushless systems are, after a while we all want that little bit more. With the 9L and 10L you don't have much room for expansion in the future when you may want power. The 7XL can be run upto 16 or even 18cells (if your mad...), and will still perform very well on 12-14cells. Whilst the 9L and 10L might be more in their optimum range at 12-14 cells than the 7XL, they cannot be run with 16-18cells, should you want more power (and I bet you will eventually, ;) )
