I have been looking at the 8.4 volt tenergy packs on ebay. Very tempting. Anyone else had good experiences with these cells? Not that I'm doubting you lincpimp I just checking that you weren't just lucky.

I've had poor experience with the tenergys. I bought a pr of 7 cell pacs for my Emaxx and they were crap - 4200s. I dishcharged/charged them as soon as I got them and was surprised they took only 3200 and change. I figured OK, maybe they need a few cycles to breakin, so I ran them and recharged them after running 6 times over the weekend. No improvement at all, in fact they got worse, dropping to only 3000 and change. Thats about a 30% drop in advertised capacity.

I complained (mine came from all-battery.com) and was basically told "its an electrical device and outside our control, so there's nothing we can do". They basically blew me off. I won't buy from them or use tenergy again. All along these acted like they had been on shelf way too long at some point.

I've had real good results from Maxxamps 7 cell pacs and am getting ready to buy another set from them.
