tranny gearing - 11.11.2007, 04:02 PM

i just got my revo done and i went to test it and it went backwards. so i thought if i switched the wires it would go forward but no it did not. what it is doing is the tranny well only go catch on the gears going backwards. it well just spin free going forward. i thought if i switched the one way it would work but it can only go one way. also i never did anything to the tranny when i was converting it. it only messed with it when it was nitro and it went forward.

i need help!!!!

make it go forward lol.

You flipped two motor wires and it didn't reverse direction??? If this is a sensorless system, just swap any two (and only two) motor wires. The only way for the motor to not switch direction is if you didn't actually swap the wires, or you swapped all three.

Brain, the way I understood it was he has a Revo with the stock tranny that isn't locked and when he reversed the motor it spun the wrong way so the OWB wouldn't grab.

Just flip the diffs.
