I,d like to konvert a big monstertruck like a monster gt or a cen genisis and go with a 12s lipopack and a 100+amp airplane esc and mecanical breaks :) But i dont know witch motor to buy ? can you guy's help me ? :) i'd also like some advice on what lipos to use !
That's a lot of volts. A Neu 1515 2y or 1521 2y would work with that setup. Any of the lipos in Mike's store are good, especially NeuEnergy and Flightpower.
The 2Y is rated by Neu upto 50V. It will run so cool I wouldn't worry about rpms too much. Its still below 50K regardless. The 1521s would also be great also for S-loads of power.
These is the 1521/2Y... but it is revving faster than a 1515/1Y and with loads more torque. It would be C-razy running that.

I would recommend a 1527/1.5Y. I think it will consume less AMPs than the other options. I'm waiting for some new batteries to come in so I can use my 1527/1.5Y in my BPP truck.
LOL, I'm sorry. I really am, but how do you figure a larger, higher Kv., lower resistance motor will consume less amps?

I was looking at the 1521/1.5Y, but I just noticed the 1521/2Y is rated at 40A and the 1527/1.5Y is at 47A. My mistake. But the bigger motor will look cool though.
I have pulled 3500 watts out of a 1515 on 12S without any problems at all. You can obviously go with a 1521. But, a 1515 would suit your project very well. It is a touch cheaper, lighter, and requires less space. Of course a bigger motor always looks cooler.
