That looks good. How does this one do compared to the old motor? Are temps in range after a good run?

If you want some "stone cold" motor temps, check this out.

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXPRB0&P=7 Tower is famous for typos. I know it says "Plastic Construction", but the cooler for the 41xx series are metal.

You could lose some weight with a UBEC.

How warm does your Lipo get if you run it hard? I'm just wondering if it can keep up with the demand.

How did you mod the cvd's? This motor looks longer than the old one.

Here's some suggested settings for the Quark that I have found to work best with the outrunner setups:

"Inrunner" setting
Starting Power set to "High"
Lipoly "Manual" setting with custom cutoff voltage

It looks really good though. I think the AXI motors are sharp.
