I have a feeling that a 9xl on 4s would not have enough rpm for a ton of speed. It may be able to handle lots of gearing though. Ithink a 7l feigao and 3s would most likely get you where you need to go!

Take a look at this:
Differential Ratio: 1
Transmission Ratio: 2.727272727272727
Other Ratio: 1
Spur Tooth Count: 54
Pinion Tooth Count: 20
Total Voltage: 11.1
Motor KV: 3511 "7l feigao"
Tire Diameter (inches): 4.0
Tire Ballooning (inches): 0
Motor Current Draw: 0
Motor coil Ω: 0.0059
Spur/Pinion Ratio: 2.7 : 1
Total Ratio: 7.36364 : 1
Tire Circumference (inches): 12.57 inches (319.19mm)
Total Motor Speed: 38972.1 RPM
Vehicle Speed: 62.98 MPH (101.17km/h)
Effective Speed Rate: 5.67mph/V (9.11kmh/V)
Effective KV Value: 3511
Motor Torque: Amperage not specified...
Final Torque: Amperage not specified...

I have run similar gearing in my pede and it will run with a 9l, a 7l will be insanely fast and not too heavy either.
