I built many a A123 pack it is quite easy. Just go slow to not short it out during disassembly. If you even touch the leads it throws some nice sparks, Don't ask how I know.. All was well even though.

I put the taps on it. You don't need em often, in fact I ussually only need them for the first 2 charges. I use Poloyquest taps.... And get them from aircraft-world.com.

They are easier to work with then Nicads since they have tabs that can be soidered with out to much trouble.
