I got my warrenty MM from castle today . I set the lvc to 6.2 just to be safe sinice im only running 2s 8000 lipo. It runs great & very cool. I was running out front & it was dark, but light enough to see. I must have ran at least 15 -20 min or more. Then the wheel feel off & i couldnt find the wheel nut. So i got my flashlight & started lookig but no luck. The neighbor kid was on his hands & nees looking for it in the dark & he found it. so i put it back on then i let him drive the car for about 10 minutes, he was very excited to say the least .

NO sir not at all so far. I ran for at least 20 min in 75-80 degree weather at night. I had a 12/46 gear & the motor was barely warm.

Finally got the body mounted - 12.16.2007, 02:59 PM

Well I had some time and finally got the body mounted on my ext CRT.5. I had to get some larger/longer body body mounts and modify them...turns out that I was not able to use the truggy wing.

I hear you. I tried a number of different methods and just couldn't get the wing to fit with this body. To do it over again I would stick with the stock body...although it would be a tad too small...it would have worked with the wing.

Your the only one who couldnt get the wing to work....

BP has a jao crowd pleaser, Cemetery gates has a normal jato body, metal man has a nitro rusty body from proline I think, RCM Mike uses a RC10GT body

I think the body just needs some creative trimming like all the other ones.... The stock body would be just retarded IMO lol, WAY to short

I've had the same cool running results with my Novak GTB and 6.5 (5900kv) combo (46/12-13 gearing). I'm running truck tires (2.2 Panther Switch Clays) and driving really hard on an indoor track. Lots of throttle and up to 20 min. runs (4800 2s lipo). I don't get any heat. The motor is warm (no heat sink), but definitely not hot. What I do notice is a good sized area of the chassis, around the motor and motor mount, gets a bit warm too. It seems the aluminum mount and chassis work as a large heat sink.

E-CRT.5 Monster - RCM chassis, MM/Medusa 50x3300/3s, truck tires, 1/8 shocks
E-CRT.5 Stock - Sidewinder/4600/2s, buggy tires
E-8ight - Tekin RX8 2000kv/4S
E-8ight T- Tekin RX8 1700kv/5S

You are right...I could hack up the body and manage to install the wing, but all my other cars have wings and this one looks plenty tough without one. For now I will not pursue installing the wing...I am happy with what I have.
