That is a known fault with the plastic caps - They flex too much and can break the top of the shick off - You can rebuild them with the aliminium caps and plumbers tape which stops most issues.
This pede has Traxxas Aliminium big Bores all round so the only issue I get is bent shafts... I popped in some stiffer blue springs in the back last night too after the photo was taken... |
