Anyone know where I can buy a battery box for my maxamps 4li-po that will fit in my mbx-5.

Are you using their 4000 cells in 1p format? If so then THIS looks like it will fit your needs. If you are using a 2p format for 8000mAh, I don't think the 8000's will fit.

Because the tray is made for flightpower 5000's and I believe that the maxamps 8000's are bigger(not length, but width). I could be wrong though.....

wouldnt 2p only make it taller and not wider or anything?

Exactly...Unless a different cell is used, if a 1P will fit, a 2P will fit.
