I suppose I should update the kit to work with stock arms.

They look like they should work fine with the stock arms with some washers to space them out to 1mm, that is to clear the FLM upper arm. Giving the stock upper is narrower than FLM, there should be no problem.

They work perfect on the FLM tower and arm setup.

The FLM arm measures 43mm to the stock 41mm at the point were the shock will mount.

The only thing necessary for it to work with the stock arms is a metal shock bushing, to take up the space were the old shock used to sit.

Our tower is necessary unless you wanted to drill some holes.

Thanks for the info Jamie. Just the kind of input I was looking for. I already ordered the towers and LST conversion kit from Mike so I'm just making sure I will be able to install this. I really want to stick with the plastic arms. Its going on my savage X along with the tranny forward converion you just released. (Looking forward to this.)

I just want to clarify to make sure I understand...

So it was designed to work with the FLM Towers and Arms, but you think it will work with the stock arms. I would need to mount this on the outside of the arm rather than in the middle section where the stock shocks mount and put a metal shock bushing in the space where the shock would normally mount?

Is that correct? I'm having kind of a hrad time picturing exactly how this would mount to the arm.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Yes we did design this around our set up. However I did check out the X arm and you can mount the shock to the outside of the arm and include the shock spacer in the stock point to fill up the gap

On all new LST kits will include all necessary spacers to work w/o any problems on stock X arms.
