The transmission ratio is higher o the new emaxx, you have to manually enter the correct value as 1.83, then recalculate. There shouldnt be much difference really, the new tranny just lowers the overall ratio a few %.

Get the 24t 32p 5mm on rc-monster and pick up a Jato 54t, 56t, or 58t spur any should be good and work w/o issues. If you didn't already... smaller spur = more speed, I wouldn't expect any change in torque over that range of spurs though, just small speed differences.

Funny I did buy a jato 58 spur, just wondering if it would fit the new e-maxx, I wanted more spur options...does the jato spur fit the new e-maxx?

I believe the Jato spurs are a direct fit for the new Emaxx slipper plates, yeah.
