16024 programming trouble!!! - 01.18.2008, 06:24 PM

I recently received my mgm 16024 and cannot figure out the programming. I have am running 6s on a neu 1515/2.5d. I connected via usb and the PC recognizes the controller but I get no beeps from the motor. It seems to me that the controller is not sending power to my Spektrum rx. I tried 2 other rxs and nothing. THe controller will light up when I first turn it on then nothiing. I hold the throttle on full for 10,15,20 secs and no beeps. I'm stuck. HELPPPPP!!!!!

I've only programmed my MM, for some reason, I want to say I initially put some settings on before connecting to the motor? Not sure if I'm right, so I would go by the manual. If the motor is not beeping, then I would check for connections. make sure you take off the pinion though....or something so the motor doesn't just take off.

Its beeping - 01.18.2008, 06:56 PM

THe connections are good. I had to hook up my hump pack to the rx before it would work(thought I didn't need that with this esc) now I get beeps from motor. I will set it up with the pc now and see what happens.

Still can't get it to work - 01.18.2008, 07:13 PM

I've been working on this friggin' thing for hours. I am missing something and I bet its simple. I have searched this site and others trying to figure it out. I program the controller via PC and write the data. I unplug usb cable then turn on controller and only receive series of beeps continuosly.

are you putting it in "auto" for mode ? that will cause the series of beeps.
